Berlin International Sound Design Competition 2018
AWARD WINNERS
Timo Säilä, Finland
1st Prize Winner 2018
I am Finnish sound designer and sound fx editor for film, TV and online. Nowadays I run my own sound post business in London, UK. I am a huge fan of big and bold sound design and hyper-realistic stuff - realism is cool, but I like to gear up from it. I love recording my own source samples and sounds and stacking them up creating layers that feel personal. I'm on a mission to create an ice-cold Finnish style of sound design.
